Greetings, I discovered SwanQueen when I started watching the show and noticed some very interesting chemistry between Regina and Emma. I thought I was the only one (hah!), but remembered back to my Gillian Anderson/Scully obsession and the sexy times fanfic...so I thought I would see if anything related to Regina~Emma was on the Internet. Oh.my.god. One thing led to a Tumblr and I am continuously amazed by all the creativity and fabulous writing! So...all this is really inspiring me to do some creative writing, which I haven't done in about 15 years. Other, current, hobbies include reading, hiking, running, camping, dog training, and fantasizing about having cocktails with Rachel Maddow followed by dancing with Lana Parrilla. More to come in season five. Sounds like we might be dopplegangers! I used to clear my family out of the house on X-Files nights, turn off all the lights, put on my Scully shirt, and pull my chair reaaaaaally close to the TV, which back in those days was NOT 42 inches! I have likewise found Swan Queen to be a reinvigorating fandom for me. It's been a long LONG time since I was inspired to write any fic! I watched season 1 of OUAT without bothering to check out the online fandom for it, and when I did poke my nose into television without pity, I was always so disappointed by all the regina hate there. She's ever been my favorite character. So I went cruising the interwebs for some positive Regina fic, stumbled into a Regina/Emma fic, and my head exploded. And I've been here ever since! I figured out tumblr for these ladies, and believe me, that's no small feat!  I love it! Yeah, my tv was 13 inches at the time. It was pretty interesting when Gillian finally came out and stated that she had a girlfriend at a time in her life. Nice to meet you! |

I volunteer with a rescue group. I'm up to my ears in dogs at all points in time, I could totally use a trainer I love Gillian Anderson -- but when she was at Dragon Con this year, I balked at getting a photo with her or going to her panels... one of those things where I didn't want to know too much about the actor, for fear that it would affect my love of the show. Still, I love everything she's done since! |

Hi, I'm Marcella and I'm from Brazil! I love this amazing ship and fandom, and I can't stop reading all the fanfics and watching the videos done by our creative fans. I hope Emma gets back to Storybrooke soon, because we really need new SQ scenes, lol.

Hi! SQ is currently my favorite ship, so I thought it's only appropriate I joined this forum. In my free time I read pretty much every SQ fanfic in existence, watch snobbish films, listen music, play video games, obsess over actresses, fictional characters and pairings, and avoid any actual work. P.S.: Seeing so many famous fanfic writers here is making me feel self-conscious. |

I teach 7th grade. 25 years ago I never would have pictured myself doing this and loving it.
