Truly have enjoyed both episodes of the It's Complicated podcast. Thanks to all of you hostesses with the mostest-est.  I do wonder why no one on the second podcast brought up the suggestion that August arranged the adoption of Henry, by being around Storybrooke (no one can ever remember anyone coming or going until the curse began breaking) and he figured if the kid was there, then Emma would have to come eventually. Especially if he wrote the book in the first place and planted it for Snow to give to Henry at the right time. Or am I just out of my mind? |

Hmm, I guess I didn't notice that because anything August related doesn't register in my brain really. But yeah, the foreshadowing at the beginning of the season with the postcard was brought up again in Tallahassee. August definitely helped Swan Queen with the whole adoption of Henry bit; is August a Swan Queen shipper? lol
I had such hopes for Tallahassee, but Emma was just so out of character: I'm supposed to believe a child who grew up in foster care is that naive? Really?

So agreed about Tallahassee... Disappointing ep, for me. I loved the first ep of the podcast, and look forward to listening to the second when I get my act together!

Oh yay, It's Complicated has a thread! *waves* We're going to try and get the episode out by Wednesday this week, we'll be doing a post-ep panel tomorrow and discussing 2x08, Lana's interview and a bunch of other things including comments from Eddy and Adam. Hope you all enjoy when it goes up  |

I'm Bri, one half of that Other Side of the Mirror podcast. (The username is a My Little Pony..I was lacking creativity). I joined the board to check out new fics for my (almost) wife, an avid SQ fan, and with whom I host the podcast. Thanks for the mention! Since we talk about the show as a whole, we have to mention other ships, sadly!  As for us not mentioning August being part of Henry getting adopted.. the reasons are twofold. 1. Tallahassee was awful and we never want to think of it again. (And a lot of people must've hated it, because that episode has been downloaded the most). It was like pulling teeth for me to even concieve watching it again to discuss. 2. I'm still going back and forth on August's involvement with Henry's birth. We know that Mr. Gold brought the child to Regina (as far as know anyhow). I am still mostly of the belief that Rumple wrote the book. I'm doubting that August knew Emma was pregnant at the moment she was in prison. It's quite easy to find out if somebody is in prison and which one, so he could've looked that up online and been able to tell oh, it's a low security prison and then passed that info on to (shudder) Neal. I am thinking that August is more entrenched in Emma's life more than we know (oh good! let's take more female character's agency!) and we're going to get more. I'm working on a post of theories regarding Henry's birth. Anyhow, hello. Thanks again. |

I love this podcast. I love this podcast too. Even though I completely disagree with their interpretation of Emma. lol I would love it even more if they would have it be live so that everyone in SWEN who is around at the time could participate. |

Hey everyone, thanks for the positive comments! It means a lot. We're working on a couple of the technical issues now that I've learned a bit more about all things audio production  Hopefully one of our upcoming shows will be live, it's really more of a cost consideration because sites like e.g. BlogTalkRadio charge to broadcast during the 'popular' times between 7pm and 11pm EST every day. It's also more of a hassle because of me being 5 hours ahead, and not everyone involved in the podcast working 9 to 5 and having evenings free. Where we can, we will go live, but we'll keep having guests on so you hear from all your favourite SQ fandom people about different parts of the ship and the show! Thanks for the continued support, and bear with us when it comes to Emma. I personally find shipping more fun when I'm not hating on one half of it, but we do still have some things to take Emma's character to task over in upcoming shows ;D |

I love this podcast too! And of course I don't always agree with everything, but generally it gives me a different perspective on things with very nice arguments, and I always value that. |
