"She's going to die for what she did." If only.
"I will have my son and I will have my vengeance." God she is so amazing. I love that she's not falling for Rumple's BS.

Is everyone being so quiet because you can't vote & type at the same time? I certainly hope so because this is the best ep in a LOOONG time. Actually focuses on the core cast for a change.

But Regina is happy now, Snow IS on the dark path now! This is a great ending to a great episode. I also like that Henry actually acknowledged it's not just people characters but MAGIC that destroys their hearts. I hope this came from the fact that he remembers Regina being a great mother to him before all that mess!

To add, Emma seems to suggest(indirectly) that magic makes seemingly "bad people" do terrible things. And also Swanqueen continue to want to provoke each other by using their status in Henry's life. And can we pause for a second to laugh at Neil's shitty parenting. Emma's "He's your son" dig made me LOL

And also I kinda want to bitch slap Snow-she'd rather die than be with the child who's spent 28 years believing she wasn't wanted or loved, the child she jumped thru a portal to ensure that she wouldn't lose her again? The child who was going to stand between her and Regina no matter what? Really?

Snow wanted the easy way out from her pain. But Regina had to live through hers... to survive. What perfect vengeance to watch Snow have to do the same. And Snow's actions were her own; yes, Rumple gave her the means, but she made the choice -- and particularly drove the knife home with that manipulation of Regina's emotions. Regina didn't do this to her, so Henry can't say; Snow did it to herself.
However, did anyone else notice that in the side-angle shots of the scene between Regina and Snow, that they seemed to carefully only have a bit on the edge of frame of MM's whimpering, simpering? Lana really brought everything to that scene. I wonder if Ginny seldom got just the right look the director was wanting, so editing had to compensate.
If we are supposed to sympathize with MM having to live with her heart going dark and empathize with her struggle wouldn't you think that the scene would have focused on Ginny more?
another note: I knew Greg was the kid Owen before the clincher with the keychain. However, he has some feelings for Regina of a kindly nature; he called her about seeing Henry in the woods.
Edited to add: OH PPS - Did anyone else think "Brigadoon" when they looked down into the valley and saw Storybrooke nestled where it had been empty before?

It would make a lot of sense for Owen/Greg to have some emotional attachment to Regina after that traumatic event that she was involved in. Even though we know she was responsible for the whole thing (him loosing his dad), from a child's perspective he might not have seen it that way. He even told her she would make a great mom and his focus seems to be on her in the present as well. I could definitely see the show milking their interaction for a bit of twisted Oedipal 'love' story.
And, as much as that might piss off Swen, if you think about it, it's actually a perfect precursor to Swan Queen. Here is this kid who lost his father because of Regina and the curse (just like Emma). And he comes back and has some vengeance/crush thing going with Regina. If Henry didn't exist, Greg would be Emma.

@lzclotho Yes, I totally thought Brigadoon! Also, you're right about how the scene didn't focus on Ginny a whole lot, which seemed odd. That whole scene didn't go down the way I imagined it. I may have to write an alternate scene (and yes, Snow sadly still survived in my brain too). enjoymyshirt I was vastly amused that Neal was even worse at parenting than Emma. However, I am getting increasingly annoyed at Neal being referred to as Henry's father. It takes more than a little ***** to be someone's parent. EvilQueen I really liked Henry's speech about how it was people, not just 'bad people,' who were made cruel with magic, but then when he left it just felt like it was another way to manipulate Regina. Again. P.S. We may not have won, but I'm very excited we held our own against Supernatural. That's a huge fandom, and we kept them on their toes. I also loved all the roleplaying in the comments. SWEN is the only fandom to make these polls fun.

agramontes I see the parallels, although I seriously don't like that they are trying to make SQ more 'socially acceptable' by including an Emma-lite character like Greg/Owen any more than I like them including a Regina-lite character like Hook.
