So in the Regina/Rumple scene she was basically making fun for him and enjoying the little bit of power she has over him - Rumple's under scrutiny from his son so he won't do anything to Regina and she knows that  She also said she knows him and knows he won't be able to change, because if his own son couldn't make him, who else would. Also, hate how Gold's clumsiness is making him likeable for everyone when all i can think is "REGINA DESERVES HER HAPPINESS MUCH MORE!!!!" |

I really like how Regina put Gold in his place. She knows that if she influences Gold, she can either A) Ensure Henry remains in her life, or B) Ensure Gold doesn't get his happy ending.
And I like that she basically objected to Rumpel's relationship with Belle, for all of the common reasons people have issues with that ship -

Like I said, I like the Regina scenes, especially with Rumple, but the episode on the whole - boring. The promo - EVEN WORSE. I'm seriously considering quitting the show, there is nothing in it for me.

The Rumbeller side of me was really into this episode (duh!) BUT I wish that the writers had not gone this route with the 'Lacey' thing if only because I wanted Rumple to eventually be good and this is a setback  In terms of Swan Queen though, I wanted so much more! Gimme more writers!! I was hoping we would never see Hook again, like never ever ever  |

I love this liveblog because literally that's all there was to that entire hour. Bench. Rumbelle, Regina Pwning Gold. Hats.
The Rumple/Belle stuff was a repeat of other episodes, so was the pathetic bro shit between Charming and Rumple. It didn't work for me here at all. Emma and Regina have nobody else to turn to except for each other, but they haven't figured it out yet. They write these two as such a classic ship.
Oh and Tamara and Greg can just die already. GREG gets more action on this show than Regina? Are you serious?

Thank you for your appreciation of the liveblog thread. I've been toying with the idea of adding recaps as well, but that would require watching the episodes again, and I'm really not sure I have that kind of willpower. LOL Then again, we have The Evil Queen episode coming up later today. |
