Opening the thread a day early so folks can get excited over the winter finale. We may be getting a Swan Queen hug. Jared is so cute playing Pan in Henry's body.

So Blue is alive. First half hour was kinda boring. Hoping it gets better. Hook & Tink actually have chemistry. Too bad TPTB aren't going to pick up on it.

Just finished watching it myself. All I can say is... What the hell just happened? I bawled my eyes out near the end, utterly sobbing, then spent the last two minutes so perplexed that my jaw almost made a hole in the floor. I mean... What the hell!?! For all the spoiler pics and such, and supposed things that happen, I feel let down. No SQ hug (although touching dialogue to an extent) no SQ bug ride... Then all of a sudden a 'One Year Later' moment. So gutted.  I actually kind of hate Adam & Eddy more than, well, usual. Especially since they wrote the damn episode. Just, URGH. Now I need to grab a drink, and some tissues, and perhaps pretend that the episode turned out entirely different. My heart is all sorts of shattered right now. |

The bug ride is not for a few months. The hug was supposed to be tonight.  I'm trying to understand why Rumple killed himself & Pan with the dagger instead of using his True Love magic with Belle. |

Hmm. We shall see.
I don't believe for a second that Rumple is actually dead. Black mist poofing and all. "The boy will be my undoing," is vague enough that I bet it just means it ends him being the Dark One. There was so much WTH. For instance, Pan himself says once they breathe in the smoke they lose their memories. So between the Blue Fairy and Regina, they couldn't have pulled a Cora and encased everyone in a sheild like bubble to protect them from breathing it in until it passed? (Or indeed sheild the majority of the town, given the expanse Cora managed to save in FTL).

Yeah I don't think Rumple will stay dead either. Glad the SQ goodbye lasted so long. At least we weren't cheated out of that. Emma was so going to cry.

Any thoughts on how the curse will be broken? A Regina/Henry kiss this time? Or Emma/Regina? I'm still thinking about why Regina said "Emma" right as she woke up when she found out she had to give up Henry. I feel baited.

As a fairly straight and relatively non-imaginative person, my first feeling on the "Emma?" thing was because she passed out and then opened her eyes and Emma was in her face, so she was like "Emma?" -- obviously based on tumblr speculation I've amended my head-canon to be that she envisioned their lives together and woke up being like 'woah, what is the status of our relationship right now? I'm confused' , but as a realist, I'm sticking with my initial interpretation. So I wouldn't feel baited..

Except that Henry was also standing *right there.* It would've made just as much sense for her to say "Henry" when she woke up. I don't know. I like how this whole thing showcases that Regina is a better mom than Snow. Regina only let Henry go into the unknown with a parent, even though it meant she would never see the love of her life or her son again, compared to Snow, who not once, but twice, chose Charming over her child (in Neverland & by sending Emma through a portal). |

Now I'm just hoping time would past faster so that I can see the new season. Maybe on this season Regina and Emma would finally realize that sexual tension they have and become a could,that way Regina, Henry, and Emma can be a family.

Funny, I keep hoping that time will pass slower so we have a longer hiatus to write fic (spoilers point to a continuation of straight-washing the characters for at least the first few episodes). I'm so excited about the SQ Virtual Season coming in April. I'm kinda glad it wasn't Regina that went after Emma first because it would've cheapened the goodbye scene a little bit to have the reunion in the same episode. Plus, it was nice to see Emma fully clothed (notice how she is always fully clothed when answering the door to anyone but Regina) & kneeing Hook for trying to push intimacy on her. Mind, I still want to see less Hook/Neal/RH. JMo looks seriously delicious in flannel pjs. It's so wrong b/c flannel pjs aren't supposed to be so darn attractive/enticing, you know? |
