Thank you. I fixed it. I created this handy list because I noticed that only about 4 fics made it into the Swan Queen tag even though they were all tagged Swan Queen (um, yay tumblr). Would it be possible to have a like/reblog option on your blog when you are viewing the post directly because I couldn't find one?

Yes, we need more writing contests so we can cement ourselves as most prolific fandom.

I think my fic requires a bit of explanation because people are wondering why I submitted it for a 'fluff' contest when it starts off with angst. I know the beginning of my fic was a bit angsty more so than fluffy, but I swear it gets fluffy, saccharine even. Plus, the rules stated the fic did not have to be pure fluff. As to why I chose to go that route instead of pure fluff: I'm big on characterization, and I felt that going pure fluff might sacrifice what I love about the two characters so much. They have been through a lot, and that's what makes me root for their happy ending. When I write a story, I want there to be no doubt that I am writing about Regina and Emma, and not any two random women.

All in agreement. Wouldn't have posted otherwise. SQ is nothing without its angst, even at fluff moments. it happens and I liked the entry. I actually like a whole bunch. but as it is, can't vote myself.

No need to explain, at least to me, giftofamber. Your fic was perfect Swan Queen. Hit all the right notes with me.

as I said when I passed along some brainstormed Christmas fic titles/ideas to another writer, I don't write Christmas fics (I've written one in the 14 years of writing for 4 different fandoms).

I am developing a "Fireworks" one for New Year's Eve. But also, something for my "A Ride on Horseback" series timed to release on the Winter Solstice (Dec 21) since that series is set in FTL.

@lzclotho @beattheodds Aw, you guys are so sweet. I just wanted to clarify because twitter isn't really good for long explanations, and I'd gotten a few questions on it. lol I'm enjoying all of the fics I'm reading so far & will likely be voting for all of them.

I don't have a tumblr in order to be able to vote. (no like button for non-members I guess, since it doesn't appear on posts I view)

But I've loved all the fics, so I'd just be "liking" them all anyway, not particularly helpful when someone has to pick ONE winner.

No like button on any posts or just on beatthe0dds tumblr? Because that is definitely an annoying quirk if it's all of tumblr.
