2.11 - "The Outsider" aka "WHERE U GO, REGINA?"

Well, I watched The Outsider at 2 am. The long and short of my thoughts....

I'm really not a Rumbelle fan, but poor Belle.

Henry is a turd.

I just found Mary Margaret's desire to get her own place hilarious, for some reason -- and Charming's reaction made me LOL! He's totally happy living with four people and a dog in one house! I enjoyed him this week, sometimes he's such an endearing simpleton!

Emma's response to MM wanting to bail felt pretty fake to me -- like she was trying to utilize some reverse psychology or something? Seriously, I'd have just been like "Good call!" especially after having walked in on sexy times last week.

Not enough Regina. Not enough by about 41 minutes and 30 seconds!

Oh yes, and I'm really struggling with the idea that Belle still sees good in Rumpel, but has decided Hook's heart is rotten. I mean I'm not the guys biggest fan, but I don't even think he's in the same league as Rumpel! Judgy judgy, Belle!

About the Rumbelle (from a rumbeller POV): PERFECTION until that last scene that KILLED ME I didn't think this was possible but I hate Hook even more now

Henry just had me going WTF. I seriously thought he was calling Regina, I should have known better.

Snowing, I don't ship them but I do like them together and I'm all for them breaking up

Yay for Archie being free! Go help Regina you ginger man you

It was an interesting episode, that's for sure.
I'm starting to like Belle, she seems less fragile and more interesting character. Especially now she's lost her memory, it will be fun to watch!
Rumple, on the other hand, is just being his old himself, I can't believe Belle sees any good in him. Regina is at least trying and NO ONE gives her any credit (except for Emma, VERY OCCASIONALLY) but Rumple gets to manipulate people, DOESN'T SHOW ANY SIGN OF REMORSE, even at the present day he keeps lying to Belle or not telling her the truth and he NEVER does anything without thinking of his own benefits! He's one selfish bastard and doesn't deserve neither Belle nor Bae. He HAS to pay the price himself for once. When will everyone realise how evil he actually is and all the things he's done? (including making my Reggie suffer!!!!)

Well, no, not really. Now we're onto Henry and Emma. Their reaction to Archie was one big nothing. Zero, Null., Flat. Hello? This is a person who's been dead for a week? What if it's a zombie? Archie says 'it's Cora'. Oh, ok, not Regina then. WHAT? CORA IS HERE! GUYS! AND NO, NO REGINA'S FAULT at all I get from their reaction to all of it: "Oh dear." Seriously?
And Henry, you douche. Preparing armoury to defend yourself from REGINA? Excuse me, young one, over here we say "mother". And no, you don't try to plan stabbing your mom first and when she's innocent you claim "I knew it!". Just no.
Now Rant over.

Anyway, I am now looking forward to how Emma is going to deliver her apologies to Regina!

So, do you think Belle will be upset when she finds out that the Prince she saved from Yaoguai-dom was later killed by Rumpelstiltskin's wraith? Is that even what actually happened - I'm still a little foggy on some of the wraith plot?

Well, the wraith was called by Rumple to come and suck out Regina's soul and they sent him thru the hat to FTL with Emma and MM. Philip marked himself when he picked up the wraiths necklace without gloves on and the wraith followed him and sucked his soul. We thought he was dead, but then Cora told Aurora (should we believe her?) that when the wraith takes a soul, the person is not dead, they are simply transported to another place, similar to what we saw from the Sleeping Curse or from Jeff's hat.
So what we have now is Aurora and Mulan trying to find him in the present day FTL. Hope that helps clear up the confusion.

Yes, agramontes is right, Philip to most of our believes is not dead.
Good point though, marieyotz - it's like a vicious circle - Belle saves Philip but right at the same time she's caught by the Evil Queen to be kept for years in the cell. Because of this Rumple releases the wraith to take a vengeance for Belle and that action eventually claims Philip's soul. Perhaps he would be better off is she hasn't saved him at all in the first place
