As hard as I try not to be, I'm really excited about the finale, so I'm starting the liveblog thread early. That way we can all get pumped. Regardless of what happens, this will be our last chance to see our girls interacting on screen together for months. Credit: valkubusfeels.tumblr.com Because I am too lazy to learn how to make my own gifs. Maybe if the finale goes well, people might be interested in a summer hiatus fic contest?

Rumple is fraying the edges of the rope on the tire swing? How exactly is that supposed to kill Henry? *rolls eyes*
Blah blah blah, Emma/Henry & Rumple upset over Neal's fake death. Snowing asking Rumple for help. *rolls eyes*

I think Rumps was going to dash Henry against those jagged rocks.
I wonder what sadist built that playground setting.

Sneak peek. Close up of Regina's chest. Emma blaming Regina. Hook helping: I'm gonna puke. Emma says they are splitting up & is going with Regina. #SwanQueen Regina says goodbye to Henry. He says 'I love you'. Awww.

*cries* Regina, Emma, sneak peek. I went from complete apathy to tears. Again. Even though I'd seen it before like 100 times.

I hate this show. Emma had to be "convinced" by her family to save Regina. WTF? Then, the "good" guys go in and take away Regina's chance to be the "hero," phrasing it just like that. And Rumbelle got a kiss? WHY AM I WATCHING THIS STUPID SHOW.

Positives: Emma & Regina made magic together. Henry said 'I love you' to Regina.
Negatives: No kiss. Way too much of Hook.
All in all, a decent season finale. Still undecided about whether to watch S3 though.

Waaayyy better than I expected! I agree that that there was way too much Hook (and when he mentioned "a pirate's life" I may have grunted ) Here's hoping he dies soon! The SQ scenes were great! Can't the show just be about the two of them making magic (in every possible way )? OMG Henry actually said 'I love you' to Regina, I'm shocked! I thought that whole scene with Emma not wanting to save Regina did make sense, Emma was letting her be the hero and choose her own fate for once! Was it me or was Emma using Henry as an excuse a lot this episode? I think I'll give season 3 a chance, I will probably love/hate it just like seasons 1 and 2 *shrug* I think I have given up on this show reaching its full potential though Oh and yeah the Rumbeller in me LOVED every one of their scenes, even if my heart totally broke

Sooo, the scene in Granny's am I the only one who thought it was about respecting Regina's choice? The idea of both Emma/Regina being manipulated by outside forces is a running theme. This is a moment for them to say no, it's her choice, you don't get to decide for her?

Definite Swan Queen happening. Now it makes sense when A&E cut Jen off at Paleyfest when she was saying how Regina and Emma work together some times. They didn't want her giving too much away.
I said before how this show reminded me of Farscape and little by little the big bass would get turned and join forces with the good guys. I hope it really goes that way. After the season 1 finale, we were really hopeful for SQ, but then they let us down. I hope they've learned their lesson with the ratings this season and they focus on making the show more solid next year or a lot more people will be jumping ship.
If F'ing Cora is the Shadow or some shit, I'm gonna piss myself.
The big 'bad' not the big bass, but we are on a ship, so maybe it is the big bass.

This is a moment for them to say no, it's her choice, you don't get to decide for her? I did see that. Very first season Emma like from the Cinderella episode. Make your own choices. She listened to Regina decided she was in her right mind making the choice, but I did like that she started to turn back once more only to see Regina commit to her path so Emma knew it was time to get Henry out f there. It was sort of strange that they never ask Blue for her advice on stopping the tirgger diamond, nor do they really consider that maybe only Regina and Emma should go after Henry and send the Charmings to get Blue to initiate the cloaking spell. What was with leaving belle, who has never used magic, to do that? Didn't make any sense. So many of the interesting moments were strung together like non sequitur points. And not a single reveal or twist was a surprise to me. Not even that the shadow is hunting Henry specifically. Cuz I already know who is the creator of the shadow.

So I finally brought myself to watch the episode. It wasn't anything special, to be honest, but then I didn't expect it to be. Right, so there were more people who could help Regina contain the trigger, Emma to start with, but also Blue and all the other fairies! Clearly, they didn't need their wands to help! Also Rumple jumping from one stance to another - first: extreme, trying to kill Henry, then the pit of sadness because of Neal WHO HE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT WHEN HE WAS IN TOWN ANYWAY, then this whole thing with Belle - why WOULDN'T he want to bring her memories back? Because she was going to die anyway? But Lacey knew that as well, so does it mean he cared less for her than Belle, even though they are the same people and if he loved her, those things shouldn't matter? He should care more for Belle because that's what she would do for him. But no, even in the end he admitted he gave her the Blue's potion just because he needed her, nothing else, pretty selfish imho. And then, out of the sudden he wants to help to get Henry and is on best terms with his biggest enemy? Oh please, this is even worse roller-coaster than that of Regina's! Speaking of which, I think what is going on in here, is that Emma not only respects Regina's choice, but also WHAT I'M REALLY HOPING is that the writers are setting the background for us - first Emma tells Regina Henry isn't her son and she isn't going to change. Now she would just let her die and argue quite a lot about it - this I hope is to show the contrast to future events, showing how Emma is actually warming up to Regina, seeing how she is with Henry and how she has actually changed. The scene "Let me die as Regina" was great, as always, but my favourite was when the Charmings all have lost all hope and are hugging each other in the mines and Henry chooses to spend these last moment with Regina instead of Emma and hugs her - so good!
I haven't decided yet if I'm going to follow season 3 though, somehow I'm not that interested in the whole Peter Pan story, from the writers' last interview it still seems like they haven't got a clue on what they are doing and that they don't really understand their characters.... (Regina is like an alcoholic with magic as her bottle??!!!! WHAT??!!!! First of all, that would be Rumplestiltskin instead, second of all, her drug is LOVE, DUH)
Everything reminds me about LOST now and I don't like it. Even the ending of the episode is taken out of LOST - the ship [island] disappearing in the middle of the sea, boom. Next thing we'll see will be polar bears and Locke as the shadow.
