Synopsis: Cora does everything in her power to steal the compass away from Mary Margaret and Emma in her quest to find the entrance to Storybrooke. Meanwhile, in order to protect Henry from further danger, Regina and Mr. Gold must put David’s life in jeopardy in an attempt to put him in contact with Mary Margaret across the lands to give her vital information that could help her and Emma return through the portal back to Storybrooke, on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 25 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
I'm hoping this episode will be the one where something cool [glow=red,2,300]actually[/glow] happens. Excited to see Cora terrorize Sleeping Beauty- we do need more terrorizing of course.
Excited to watch little Henry take over his rightful place as Lucifer and his mighty throne of Hell.
What are you dreading or excited for in tonight's episode? I don't know if there are spoiler tags in here so this may become a spoilery thread: you've been warned - (warned like Regina warns Emma to stay away and then Emma comes back time and again and they do anything but stay away, if anything they get closer.)

That official synopsis bugged me the first time I saw it, because of the "must" put his life in jeopardy, like they scheme together behind his back and don't tell him, which would make no sense because why would they want him to talk to MM... then come the preview, and it turns out it's David's idea right from the start. Still, I'm sure Regina and Rumpel will end up getting the blame if David gets hurt. Grr.
Still, it's been too long since we had a decent bit of Regina in an episode, so here's to hoping for tonight!

I'm ready for the present-FTL part of this story line to be over. It has felt stagnantly emotional for all the characters. Yes, we had the moments of Emma seeing her mother as kick-ass Snow, and Emma's fish-out-of-water responses to things, but there hasn't been any real development. I still don't get that Emma's even partially adjusted to the fact that she's the child of Charming and Snow White. Nor that Snow has figured out what it means to parent an adult child. Stagnant. And I can't stand stagnant.
This all goes without saying there can be no "figuring out their relationship" between Emma and Regina regarding Henry (or anything else!) UNTIL THEY ARE IN THE SAME F-ING PLACE. GRRR.
*frustrated laugh*

You know what really bothers me about this? That Charming gets to be the big friggin' hero again. I've had enough of him to last a lifetime. (I've also had enough of Hook. Can he just never be heard from again?)
But other than that: Yay, Regina gets more screentime again! And I love watching Cora be evil. She's just so good at it. I bet they won't be able to get Charming to wake up for the next episode. And then Regina is the one who has to work to get Emma and Snow back to Storybrooke. If that isn't the writer's plan, I'm going to be very disappointed.
*sigh* Right now, I'm just glad when another episode is over cause that brings us closer to having Swan Queen reunited.

I agree, im really tired of him always having to be the hero. But at the same time he kind is meant to be the hero. I'm super excited about Regina getting more screen time, and i hope that Cora comes to Storybrooke. I think that would be a fascinating storyline, especially between her and Regina. Although im loving season two i do want Regina and Emma to have more scenes together. To be honest though i'm still not over episode 1 and that super duper gayness so it is kind of helping my with my patience.

I know this is just a coincidence...but now Regina is delivering blatantly pro-Charming/Snow lines, and the writers and Lana have sorta gone 'meh' to Swan Queen. I think a directive might just be 'get this show back on track with Charming/Snow as the centre of the storyline'...which is boring as f***. Moderator! I swore! Charming/Snow are boring as f***. There I did it again. lol. anyway. this episode isn't bad, but the whole Charming/Snow thing is not cutting edge or progressive or interesting or anything. They just want to sell more Disney apparel. Swan Queen wouldn't make enough in advertising. We need to figure out a way to make Swan Queen a capitalist money-generating machine to get their attention. I am way off topic now. Must be all the commercials.

SPOILERS BELOW
Compared to previous episodes, tonight’s episode was far superior. It not only focused more on the core cast, but it also had the slight edge of unpredictably which I always appreciate (AKA: Hook taking Aurora's heart in order to have Cora control her. Perhaps I'm dense but I never seen that coming).
First, I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed Regina getting more screen time, Lana never ceases to execute all of her scenes flawlessly. The scene between Regina and Henry was very promising considering their tumultuous relationship thus far. It showed that he IS capable of not always condemning his mother, and yes, Regina is his real mother regardless of biology, and I’m very hopefully that their relationship will be rectified.
Second, I also loved the fact that Snow fessed up to the fact that, had she listened to Regina when she was a child, none of them would be in this situation. Although she was a child she was certainly old enough to follow instructions and from her facial expressions and tone of voice she understands and acknowledges that.
Oh, also, I think it’s completely heinous that Hook and Emma literally have the EXACT same set up when it comes to a relationship as Emma and Regina, yet it’s obviously far more logical simply because he has man bits. Ugh, and here I thought this was going to be a progressive and open-minded retelling of fairy tales and instead we have the same heteronormative and white washed stories as usual.
Aside from my random rambling in the end, I actually really enjoyed this episode, and hope the future episodes will stay on this track and progressively get better. Yay for being one more step closer to the Swan Queen reunion!

I got so excited when Snow told Emma about Daniel and then Emma went and ruined everything. It must be that time of the season when I want to punch Emma in the face. Otherwise I liked the episode (minus the Snowing part that seemed to last forever). Finally some good Henry/Regina stuff. And Barbara Hershey as Cora is perfect. I love her. I also thought the part with Aurora was a great twist.

Watching now -- that Henry/Regina scene was fantastic. And I thought it was very big of her to refer to the Charmings as Henry's grandparents. And... and... she's great. And she's trying. And I love her, and I admire her. And I'm just typing my way through the Charmings firey reunion right now lol!
ETA: Just ended. So Hook and Regina know each other, huh? Veeeeeery interesting.

I'm thinking this very special squid at the bottom of the ocean is Ursula.

Oh, yes definitely a very special inky squirty Ursula squid! Good thought.
After Emma jumping to the conclusion that Regina is to blame for life, I want Cora to : kidnap and curse Emma and Henry and have Regina pop in and save them both. Show some fealty to your Evil Queen Ems!
Charming's cracked me up- the "always find each other" - is it still supposed to be heartwarming? Cause I just find it funny - a running joke at this point. Regina was even hocking that stuff. I thought her scene with Henry was touching, especially that little look she had when he thanked her for bringing blanky. But then the little brat hugged the shit out of Charming and only gave his Mama a pity hand pat.

So, watching the eppy, I'm seeing some proswanqueen stuff-not just the shirt. Emma now knows what turned Regina the way she is. The parallels with "the heart is a lonely hunter" with Regina blaming Emma for stuff to Emma blaming Regina for stuff. And also-every Emma shipping tag but red+swan now has a let's screw Emma over moment. Neal, August, Hook, Jefferson all betrayed Emma in one way or another. That argument against Swanqueen much like the whole them being family argument goes away. One less obstacle in our ship's path as far as I'm concerned. Also Swanqueen concerned about their son moments make me awwwww. Just how I see it
