When I first saw the promo and thought it was Cora, I was so happy and confused that Regina was stronger than her. Now knowing it at least appears to be the Blue Fairy, it makes more sense. Here's a twist: what if it's Hook/Cora (Emma/BF) in disguise? I don't think that's the case, but still. Also, if the beloved character is Pongo, WTF? How is a dog worth attacking someone? Now, who can't wait to see the Evil Queen get her warrior princess on? (or Queen ;-) Warrior Princess? More like Dark Willow. I wonder if her eyes will turn black. *gets excited*

It's less irritating if you discard the notions of a person being good or evil. I would imagine that Snow, at that point in her life at least, wanted the woman who was responsible for the death of her father to suffer. I find that to be an understandable human emotion. Is it utter blasphemy to say this, as an Evil Regal?

Precisely, my dear! It's a cycle of grief that is dealt with through revenge. Revenge is not evil, depending on the circumstances it could even been seen as being a righteous act. I don't think it is a 'good' person who would not feel the need for revenge, but rather a very wise one. Neither Regina now Snow were worldly enough (Regina at Daniel's death and Snow at her father's) to take a different path. We know where Regina has come from, we understand what has shaped her life. That is why we cannot honestly say that she is purely just an evil creature. She is damaged. Of course as Evil Regals we know this well and can be very vocal about it should some ignorant person decide to spread any hate. On the other hand, there is Snow. We've not seen this particularly vengeful side until now though, which has lead her to being understood as an innocent and 'good' character. Personally I rather think of her as a blank canvas, just as Regina was, ready to be painted upon and evolve into someone more complex than just a fairytale princess (oh, the irony). This is why I don't feel particularly irritated about this scenario. HOWEVER. What bothers me are those who fail to realise that the Charmings do indeed have flaws and are sometimes pompous selfrighteous bastards.

Actually, we have seen the 'vengeful' part of Snow before. Was she not wearing a bottle of perverted Fairy Dust around her neck, looking for the chance to use it on the Evil Queen and crush her when she first met Charming? Maybe it isn't as pronounced as Regina's, but it's still there. All this "Charming's are good and righteous" and "Regina is evil and must be punished" is ridiculous. There are no strictly 'good' or 'evil' characters, every one of them has darker tendencies under the surface. Just look at how Snow/MM treats Regina now. I mean seriously, putting her to death would be a bit hypocritical if you ask me.

I saw that as something she was keeping for self defense, but in any case yes I agree that Snow is not an angelic creature. She's actually a fairly boring character to me though, so it would be nice to see her become more complex.

Aw, that's worth multiple fangirl squeals. 214 is titled 'Manhatten'...is that the one Jane Espenson was working on that she was afraid the title would give away too much?

Is 214 the episode for which JMo, Robert Carlyle & Jared were spotted filming in Manhattan (or somewhere else that was outside Storybrooke, can't remember my locations very well right now)?

Oooh. You know, I was thinking someone should make a PG 13 pic/appreciation thread on the General Board for each of our ladies. Because I always love pics. Have the sneak peeks for the next episode started coming out yet?

No sneak peeks by name, but there have been a few promotional ads. I'm a very visual person so I support this picture thread idea.

Why isn't Regina crossing the line w/the big group? Or is it maybe that they used the stock footage from the first episode? That promo answered some questions though: Gold insisted Emma leave with him. It wasn't Emma's quest to find Neal.

Yeah, I think....If I was Emma, I wouldn't be jumping to find Neal either. But why is Henry there? Does Gold send him ahead to get Emma to follow? Why does Emma take Henry? Still doesn't make sense. and WHERE'S MY BABY, Regina?
