We need at LEAST one Swan Queen scene per ep after all the drought we've been through. Remember the good old days when the first 3 episodes were almost all Emma/Regina scenes?

Well, seeing that so far in this season we've already had 3 Regina-centric episodes and the last one was just Regina in every second of it, I'm not complaining!

Well, seeing that so far in this season we've already had 3 Regina-centric episodes and the last one was just Regina in every second of it, I'm not complaining! But that's exactly the point. So far this season, all the Regina centric episodes have been separate from the Emma centric episodes (Broken and Cricket Game being the exceptions). For me, what makes the show interesting is their dynamic together & one or the other by themselves just doesn't cut it. Whether they are screaming at each other or staring at each other's cleavage or giggling like teenagers with their first crush, I crave their interaction. Like @exquisitliltart, I'm still suffering from #SwanQueen drought.

Ok, so after digesting both the promos, here's what I think:
My impression is that Cora visits her daughter and tries to get her back. Regina seems like she's changed back to that young, scared girl again, obviously shocked, but cannot fight against her own tyrant mother. However, I don't think that at that point Cora gets her back just like that. I see three possible scenarios:
- the only purpose to that visit might be just to make herself known to her daughter and leave her a message 'You know where I am, if/when you need me'. She might not want to force Regina just yet, she's a Queen of Hearts so she knows how to work them, especially if it's her own daughter. She might want this decision to really be her daughter's, not hers, because only then it would count, so she just wants her to start thinking about it and how good it would be.
- or Cora, thinking her daughter is fully broken, wants to get her there and then but Regina, though clearly shaken and struggling with the situation, manages to recoil. She doesn't want that life any more and she wouldn't leave Henry. Perhaps there could be some parallels to the scene back in FTL when young Regina was trying to run away and said she didn't want power, she wanted to be free.
- or Regina really is devastated and she's about to give in when Henry and Emma show up, saying how sorry they were etc, Cora disappears.
Either way, Cora's visit doesn't turn out exactly like she wanted, she sees Regina is still not fully 'broken' so she needs to 'work' her even more. And who's better at manipulating people than Rumple himself? They agree that it's Henry who's Regina's weakness. Again, there could be two different things coming out of it:
- either Cora asks for a spell who would erase Henry from Regina's heart/memory
- or they agree that it's Henry who needs to be targeted but he's under Emma's protection and, as we know, she's untouchable by Cora. Conveniently, Rumple might eliminate her out of the equation by taking her with him to find Bae. But what would he want in return? Finishing off Hook? And would he let hurt Henry? He's quite sweet around kids (and dogs). Perhaps he would give Cora a spell of forgetting, all right, but meant for Henry? Or an idea of how to affect kid's imagination for him to start to hate Regina once and for all?
- or Cora can come up with many fine ideas herself, all she needs is for Rumple to 'fix her' like he fixed Regina's magic before by giving her the book of spells. Obviously magic is different in Storybrooke so perhaps Cora struggles to reach her magical potential and needs some help? In the end, Rumple wouldn't be himself if he just gave Regina the whole book without keeping a spell or two?
Either way, the conclusion of the meeting would be that Rumple passes on a spell to Cora, perhaps not so much through a kiss but by a breath. Remember the book of spells, Regina had to breath it in to gain her powers, maybe this one would be similar.
What do you think? I strongly believe that there is hope and that Regina manages to fight her mother off in that scene being their first meeting. Otherwise, why would Cora turn to Rumple for help with her?

The Canadian promo should come with a warning! Seriously, like I'm overloaded with rumbelle angst and dreading that Cora/Rumple kiss BTW people are saying that Rumple is Regina's father, I really hope that's not true

Someone needs to find the new Cora/Regina sneak peek and post a link-because Regina calls the Charmings "those two idiots" and Emma and Henry by name . . . . and she kinda excuses Emma believing her guilty . . . . also she's buying her mom's BS

Regina says "Emma" before she says "Henry." She realizes Cora wanted her broken. She forgives Emma for her stupidity. #SwanQueen feelings.

And can we talk about character growth-both Emma/Regina have changed so much. The woman who framed Emma using Archie first season would have never excused Emma's mistake. And season 1 Emma wouldn't have resisted so hard till she had to actually "see" Regina do it to believe her guilt-she would've believed with no hesitation. And can we talk about how touchy-feely Emma is this season-with everyone in a way she wasn't last season. And how Regina is willing to fight her mother this season in a way she wasn't last. And also "the idiots" don't include Emma. And her excuses for Emma-it would've been front page news about her stupidity as sheriff last season. Our babies have come so far

So, I know i was quick to say Rumple was maybe Regina's dad from the promo....but....
Watching someone's nice gif on tumblr,i realized, it could be a misdirect by producers instead.
So we have Cora in what appears to be Rumple's shop, and she picks up a framed picture of Regina hugging Henry...and then in the next take, Rumple and Cora are holding hands and they agree to a truce and Cora and Rumple kiss...meanwhile the audio says something like 'Cora: I want my daughter back. Rumple: Truce' and then they kiss...so:
Maybe that wasn't Cora in Rumple's shop looking at the picture...maybe it was Cora at Regina's looking at the picture and then a quick cut to Rumple's shop.
IF, however...Rumple has a framed picture of Regina and Henry in his shop, I'm going to have to say it's likely that he's Regina's dad...why would he have that otherwise?
And then there remains the question of the Miller's Daughter in the original tale...We know she best's the imp and supposedly marries the king. But then where does Tony come from? I'm gonna go ahead and call Regina's dad Tony cause he's not been given a name yet right? He's not a king...so how did we get from spinning straw into gold for your life and then being forced to marry the king to being nobility and married to Tony?
What do you guys think?

AYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! Omg, that was perfection. I don't even want to watch the episode now, we all know it's going to go to hell in a handbasket 10 seconds later when Cora abducts her or some such.
Apparently Emma and Henry didn't break their backs trying to tell Regina they knew she was innocent!
But Regina wants Emma and Henry (and the two idiots... afterthought...) to know immediately!
My heart is exploding!

Dang, if those are all her EQ outfits down in her secret lair, I cannot express how much I just want her to suit up and go marching through town. Emma would die. No one is able to resist EQ cleavage!

I can die happy now. Regina is so much stronger and wiser! (and score, one of my theories came true!). She not only knew WHY her mother would've framed her (broken=receptive... err?), she also excused "those idiots" for believing this 'air-tight case' - such a contrast to when she blamed Snow for Cora ripping Daniel's heart! The whole speech was awesome, including the bit when she said she doesn't want to argue. I couldn't help noticing either that she says "Emma. And Henry and the two idiots" (yes, i do believe there was a pause after 'Emma' AND she said her name first ). She could've easily said 'Henry and the three idiots' but she didn't. She could've also said 'Miss Swan' but she didn't. Or anything, But she said Emma Did she forgive her those horrible cruel words the blonde said? One thing I'm worried about is when she said: "I am... I was trying so hard to be worthy of Henry" - I hope this changing the tense doesn't mean Regina is giving up now? All in all, I feel her character has developed the most on the show, I'm so proud of my baby Reggie!!!!

marieyotz, I didn't notice that! I guess I was way too focused on Reggie's face But yes, those are her outfits!!! This is AMAZING. Imagine her walking down the street in one of those, yet with her 'Madam Mayor' face - just perfect! I love writers for letting her keep those But now they showed that, it's in order that they make her wear it too! Or even better, make Emma discover the place and let her imagination unwind! Also, that might explain why Regina didn't know Emma, Henry and the two idiots already knew she was innocent. I so don't want to hear the excuse like "Um, it's getting late Henry, maybe we should go talk to her tomorrow, go back to amend your drawing instead" (especially that it was daytime when Archie came). My theory is that they tried to go and apologise to Regina but they simply couldn't find her. Remember that Emma and Snow talked to Grumpy when he asked about coming back to FTL and they clearly said that if it's about Regina, then they "will find her, there is only so many places she can hide" - so they definitely didn't know where Regina was and if she was hiding from them, it would take some hard work to find her, not to mention talk to her. And that brings me to the question - so she obviously wasn't at her own house, this would be the first place they would go looking for her. Also, where the scene in the sneak peek took place looks nothing like mayor's house that is simple yet elegant. This one was way more Evil Queen style so where was it? It's given it's a hidden room but where? Reminds me a lot of mayor's office, actually. OR, it was mayor's house, some yet another room that Henry was never to find out about? Regina might've just felt the urge to go back to being the Evil Queen or even to think about her past and look at all those things reminiscent of who she was once. At which point Cora could've stormed in. Does anyone else feel like Cora didn't arrive through the door but from the mirror?
