Yeah. Little Snow is very entitled.

Gee Snow, telling Regina she will have joint custody (at minimum) of Henry might help you get her back on your side.

Regina pulling out Johanna's heart was soo hot. Wrong, but hot. Just to see the look on Snow's face.

FYI, David Goodman was one of the co-writers on this ep & he also co-wrote the Cricket Game. Looks like he may be on my writers to watch list.

Interesting episode but disappointed on the confirmation that Regina really was that delusional about her mother - after all she said and went through! The confrontation between her and Snow was pretty interesting though!

I don't think Regina is that deluded about Cora. When she asked her what she wanted after all this time with Rumple's dagger, it was clear she was looking for Cora's real endgame and she seemed genuinely concerned with Emma and the idiots well being. I think, IMHO, Johanna and threatening Snow are just collateral damage to her. She knows these are bad things she has to do in order to get what she wants; the power to control the situation.

Oh, I know she wasn't delusional any more when she was asking Cora about what she actually wanted to do with the dagger but that was AFTER she learned the truth about how she became the queen (even though I thought it was already mentioned some time ago that Cora spooked the horse anyway). BECAUSE of the fact that she was asking all of those questions AFTER Snow confronted Cora really confirmed to me that Regina wasn't objecting her mother's actions until that point. Although the talk with Snow that 'maybe Regina is the good one' makes me think too - that perhaps Regina really has been playing her mother all along and has a secret plan that requires some sacrifices... *confused*

Regina did know about Cora setting her up to be Queen with Snow falling from the horse already, but she was so young and so abused that she blamed Snow instead and has launched such a long vendetta that she may well have "forgotten" that little part of the narrative until it was brought up to her again. I also believe Regina didn't realize Cora had killed Snow's mother prior to this (although we all did).
As for Regina playing her mother, I think she wants to know what her mother's plan is, sort of like in Ledger Squared in Blood.

That second "koala-cuddle" shot for "The Miller's Daughter" looks like Regina is stunned by something going on in front of them, and yeah, Emma is keeping her away from, protected from, it.
Clearly though, Cora doesn't know everything. Emma's certainly no "distant memory when Rumple makes it back to town." I wonder what she thought she knew.

I suspect that was an idle threat on Cora's part; once again testing Regina's loyalties. I suspect also (though I have no proof so this is not a spoiler) that Cora intends to make Regina the new Dark One, expecting that as her daughter, she will then always be able to control the Dark One's power. My logic in this has to do with what we already know of the dagger and Cora/Rumple. Cora already had control of the Dark One but was bested by him when he convinced Regina to push her into the Looking Glass. Therefore she has already had control of the dagger and seen how the Dark One can be easily bent to anyone's will. She would seek someone else to be the dark one while she retaine control over it. Regina is the perfect candidate.

Fascinating theory! Interesting that Cora would think BEING the Dark One less enticing than controlling its power.
But DAMN, Regina really needs to have someone to talk to about spending a lifetime controlled and/or manipulated by others. I hope she gets a chance to talk at length with Archie again...
Or Emma would do very nicely. (Yes, I still hold out hope for continuation of Swan Queen moments on the show.)
I can't figure any other reason beyond continuing with an emotional connection arc of some kind between the women for the digs like "You're just like her" (Henry) and "That sounds a lot like Regina." (Rumple) And carefully reversing camera to show Emma's reactions to both.
If they aren't purposely paralleling Emma and Regina's arcs, they are stumbling like (lucky) drunks into it.
