Maybe she says it later? maybe later on the ship when they have a private moment? After Emma had gone back to get Regina, because Henry got kidnapped and then they combined their magic to save Storybrooke. Now that would be my kind of a game-changer |

So I did watch the sneak peek, prompted by the whole avalanche of new tumblr pictures and I must admit I liked it. But I'm also afraid this is the only SQ scene in this entire episode, which looks like is going be packed with lots of other stuff, so I'm still inclined not to watch it. Especially with the fact that we will see Neal being rescued by Mulan and the rest. Urgh. Emma had more emotion in the scene with Regina "dying" than she did when Neal was "dying." Just saying. JMo knows what her fans want. I actually disagree. To me Jen showed close to no emotions compared to the scene with Neal. Also, when she turned back, I feel like she wanted to say she's sorry for all the stuff she said before. Her leaving so promptly was a huge awkward moment, what was that about? |

Her leaving quickly was very awkward & felt off. Maybe she had a task she was supposed to complete while Regina was using magic? I just saw the emotional bit as in contrast to the 'I love you'...I could just see more emotion on JMos face. But yeah, open to interpretation. I just feel like she is trying to save Emma's dignity in any way possible. |

I felt like the 'I love you' she told Neal was really loaded. It has to do with Henry and with missed oportunities and not so much an 'I love you' like 'I'm in love with you right now.'
JMo plays Emma really interestingly when she's around Regina. Maybe they were told to tone the SQ down a little bit since she seems so guarded in the mine scene, but there is still a lot going on in her expression, and there's an interesting parallel to Neal since he's just been lost 'sacrificing' himself and Regina is 'sacrificing' herself too. So SQ.

Also interesting, they are breaking the season into two distinct story arcs. Hopefully this means less filler episodes and a greater focus on the main cast and our lovely ladies. Anyone want to discuss the Swan Mills family set pics that have been posted all over tumblr? What do you think Regina is holding? Isn't it lovely that Emma seems to be very protective of Regina in those photos?
