Had a different thought about the meaning of ep 2x12 "In the Name of the Brother"... what if it is dealing with the fact that Charming is known to everyone in the kingdom by his brother's name, not his own? I mean, yes, it could be about Whale and his brother, too, but what if they are paralleling arcs?

And I forgot, the 2x11 is "The Outsider" but that one was released before, with the Cricket game, but I didn't see anyone commenting on it. At first I thought it was about Neal, but then, when they were shooting it, he wasn't there and everything. Who would be an outsider? And, again, I hope that the fact that Lana went on Christmas break before everyone doesn't mean an entire episode without her...

Parallel arcs! Yes! They love to do that. Then the outsider could mean Cora/Hook coming to town or Regina now that everyone treats her like crap. Or Neal... Tiny could be about Tink and something else Tiny... Like the blue fairy? Jiminy? Peter Pan? Emma as a baby or Henry as a baby? I don't want any Regina free episodes either.

I stand corrected, apparently Lana DID fly back for the last day of filming. So we'll get at least something involving Regina in episode 14. If they're indeed filming in Steveston again today, we might even get a few pictures. *fingerscrossed*

I just don't want tiny to be about Tinkerbell...

He's David in Storybrooke, Snow calls him Charming, and James is actually his dead adopted prince twin's name, right? So I guess we DON'T know his name. Does Snow?

I have no idea. I went back to The Shepherd and reviewed it very carefully. Even his mother never actually calls him by name.
I had a related thought: Since Rumple has control/influence by knowing a person's name, this lack of knowing David/Charming's real name may be an important step in breaking Rumple's influence over people and events.

Hmmm, good point. I find this bizarre, though. Snow and Charming have been together for so long. And I guess she knows about him not being the original prince James. So why wouldn't she know his real name? And yet she still calls him James, David or Charming. So maybe his real name is relevant somehow. Maybe it ties into another fairy tale?

A few pages back, someone touched on Bae being part of Rumple's road to redemption. I don't see that because even his "true love", Belle, has pulled away. I suppose it could be part of a bigger puzzle. He was the dark one, after all. And I'm sure it would take a lot more to redeem him than Regina. She's the only one trying to make amends of the two. Unnoticed, as it is.
As for the episode, "The Outsider", there is yet another character coming to SB. I think the actor's name is Ethan Embry, don't quote me on that. I remember hearing somewhere that he was an outsider and not a FTL character.

I think the issue I have with Regina's redemption is that I feel the 'good guys' are in dire need of redemption themselves. I'm sure you're right about the episode being about Charming & his brother because Charming has had so much screentime this year.

Sing it, sister! Yeah, the Charmings have been woefully UNcharming this season, in serious need of a slap upside the head about what "being good" truly means.

Rose McGowan was cast as a Young Cora. Seems like we'll actually be getting the tale of the Miller's daughter.

I was wondering if they were going to spackle BHersh. Rose McGowan and her have a similar nose.
