I wouldn't be surprised if we viewers ARE supposed to make the Neal Cassidy connection with Kerouac's "On The Road."

But I still hope with everything I am that does not make him Bae.

I do wonder if it might go down like this: Emma thinks she has found Bae's trail through something August gives her -- (because August wants to lead her to Neal, not help out Rumple.) So for a while we viewers and Storybrooke citizens alike all think the two men are one and the same, until Bae actually shows up, drawn by some other means to Storybrooke at the end of season two.

We know August can lie, and obfuscate the truth. So, say he feels remorse for separating Neal and Emma all in service to breaking the curse, and now that the curse is broken he thinks it's safe to bring them together, he sends the postcard to Neal, and when Emma says she's leaving to look for Rumple's son, he gives her what he says is a clue -- "I've been all over the world, maybe this will lead you to him" -- and she takes it.

I just can't see them ending the biggest storyline (who is Bae -- Rumple's redemptive arc) so prematurely in the middle of season 2, when we haven't even had a chance to see Rumple struggling with any aspect of redeeming himself yet. He continues to manipulate Regina (among others). I don't think he *deserves* to find Bae yet.

I don't believe they're actually filming the "New York" scenes in NY. I believe I read that a "New York" set was built in Vancouver. But I could very well be wrong. Can't remember where I read it so I can't post anything as validity.

Regardless, I would love to see Regina leave Storybrooke for her son's sake. She would be sacrificing so much by crossing the line, just as she always sacrifices for him. (And gets no recognition for it).

Regardless of where they are filming, they are obviously planning an arc that takes the storytelling out of Storybrooke to New York, at least for Emma and Henry.

I would hope that Regina is there too somehow.

I think awomanontheverge is referring to Lana being in the real NYC based on her instagram pics (although a NYC set in Vancouver makes that questionable). They may have simply done a good job with the NYC set & she's still in Vancouver.

I agree with @lzclotho that Rumple doesn't deserve to find Bae yet.

And giftofamber, that is true, Lana may have instagram-ed from Vancouver if they made the NYC set that realistic. I just assumed it was the real NYC since she has family there and what not.

I'm so confused. Maybe Lana is just on vacation while the rest film in Vancouver NYC. Or not. I like the theory of Regina following Henry who stowed away with Emma. That would be sweet. And I really think Tiny is about Tinkerbell. I'm actually writing a fic about Tink and Neal... But I guess we have to wait and see.

I think I just don't want them bringing new characters. They're barely developing the main ones lately because of the new ones, it kinda bothers me.

Well, if she has definitely been in NYC... does it means more episodes with no Regina, or are they on Christmas break already?

If I had to guess... I would say that they are staggering the cast breaks so they loose as little time as possible over the holidays.
But here's a question. If Jen wasn't in NYC proper, how did she tweet a pic of the tree? They didn't remake the tree on set, I doubt they would do that. So perhaps they were actually in New York for a day or two shooting exteriors before they went back to BC to shoot on NY mock up set...And now Lana is on vacation/holiday seeing the Rolling Stones and stuff. ? Any takers?

I think Jennifer only replied to a tweet from someone else that had the picture in it. She didn't actually post the picture herself. I also read somewhere that she was among a small group of people that filmed some scenes over the weekend.

The dwarfs, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas were on set yesterday and apparently wrapped their scenes for 2012. One of the OUAT hairstylists wrote on Saturday morning that they've got "three more days in Storybrooke" before the holidays. Sounds like today is their last day of filming before the break.

I doubt Lana's gonna fly back to Vancouver for one day of filming so she was probably already done for 2012 when she left for New York.
