It makes narrative sense in that Hook is going after Rumple, and the best way to do that would be through the woman who loves him. Otherwise, he has to deal with her getting in his way and true love etc.
But the important thing would be getting him out of Emma's orbit.

I like the Hook/Belle idea. It makes sense since Rumple/Milah/Hook, now Rumple/Belle/Hook.
But it worries me because they might also play with Hook/Emma/Neal. Especially if Neal is Bae which ties into Rumple again, almost like Rumple Jr./Emma/Hook. Does that make any sense?
What about Cora/Hook/Belle? or Cora/Rumple/Belle?
or Red/Hook/Belle?
And what about our Queen?! When is she gonna get some lovin!?

My guess based on everything we've gotten: Cora turns Archie into a fish, no one knows this. Everyone assumes Regina kills him, Emma sees the truth. The execution part is a FTL storyline, clearly snow and charming are unsuccessful. (Cora might also be pretending to BE Regina while she's out and about in SB)
All this lack of Regina and Emma in the steveston pics this week is causing me to root more for a mills-swan family road trip....

I'm kinda hoping someone threw August in a wood chipper. But I like your logic there. Why a fish?
What if Cora is like a T-1000 and can only copy those she's already killed? Or sampled?

Fish because Barbara told PBS that she just got to turn someone into a fish. That was around the time they were filming ep 10....Archie because of the ep. Title and what sbarge said about something explosive happening to him that involved Regina.
(My theory is that Cora's heart is inside Regina. And reginas is in Cora's vault. Seems like the best place for Cora to hide her own heart, her daughters chest. I don't think Regina knows this yet)

If Neal is Bae then that highly gross. Bae was a 13 year old when he used the beans and went into the portal. right? Regina was how old when she first summoned Rumpelstiltskin? Maybe18-20?? He said that he knew her for a long time(supposedly she was the baby the millers daughter promised to give to Rumpelstiltskin at birth). Then Regina cast the spell years later that takes them to StorybRookE. When Emma is 17 she then meets Neal. So how old should Bae be then? Maybe 50? So if he is Bae and Emma was 17 when she met him...then hmm. Maybe I'm wrong but math and OUAT writers have never been my friend.

So friggin excited about 2.10!!!1! I know Regina's in for a crappy time again, but the whole idea of Emma batting against the Charming 'rents for Regina just appeals to my shipper heart.  <3 But this whole Neal/Bae theory that's floating around everywhere - I dunno if this has already been discussed, but I feel like that is WAY too cruel to Regina. I mean, Rumple's pretty much the reason her life sucks so much (or so we've been lead to believe) so for Henry to have a biological link to him just seems too horrible. Or are we in for seasons and seasons of so much Regina angst that the character we initially fell in love with just fades away? Please don't let that happen, TPTB. |

I wonder if Cora turns him back into a cricket. That would also work, in my mind. I figure in Cora's messed up mind that her getting Regina in trouble she could swoop in to the rescue. Again, maybe I'm reading way too much fanfiction.

I think the execution part is in FTL and probably means we're getting some of the back story on how Snow and Charming actually took over the kingdom from King George and Regina. We only see them getting reunited and planning to do that; then fighting the war in the episode when Charming's mom dies; and then there's the wedding from the first episode and a few other FTL scenes where Snow and Charming are obviously in charge of the kingdom. So how exactly did they get there, and how did they defeat Regina? So at some point I guess they captured her and made her give up the kingdom, and I'd venture that that's what this episode is gonna be about on the flashbacks. They plan to execute her, and someone interferes to say, "hey, maybe we shouldn't". Which would be a nice parallel to Emma defending her when everyone thinks she killed Archie. Who could it be that stood up for Regina in FTL? Maybe Archie himself? We know how he likes to always do "the right thing"...

I still don't get how they captured her. She has magic by this time, if it's after she married Leopold, which, it is since Snow appears to be trying to kill Regina. So, how do they capture someone with magic? Makes me think she lets them for some reason.
